There was a LOT of great imagery here, but I loved this line the most:
Shadows lengthening like sceptres of angels

...it was probably not your intent...but, to me this sounded like the ending of a long day of creation...one of the cycles of creation, cycles of eons of days and nights...all of the experiences being withdrawn and assimilated...then the long "night" before a new cycle of creation and being...very enjoyable...moon
