As you may (or may not) know, I am also given to muse philosophically on occasion, and I find yours apt, interesting and fun. The existence of Multiverses is a firmly established theoretical truth by now (by which I mean that, given certain theoretical parameters, they have to exist). However, for science to be science it requires testing and empirical evidence, and there ain't any, so far. So we don't really know.

And you're absolutely right in saying things can never look the 'same', and yet some things definitely are. At the particle level, things are truly indistinguishable. The protons and electrons (let alone the quarks) making up your coffee table are indistinguishable from those making up you and me...

This is very nicely thought out and written
I remember when my daughter was little, the world was so new and magical to her.  I loved watching the world through her eyes.
