Luckily for Kim, she is my best friend and that person that I can say anything to and not have her take it badly. I told her very simply that I needed to be able to stumble my way through the morning and from that point forth she respected it.
If you can find your way to Seattle, I highly recommend it! The people are great and the scenery is beautiful.

Hope your trip includes the east side of the state, the drive over is quite scenic. Mountains, plains, the coulee country, endless farmland and desert (who would have thought) then back to trees and mountains. Right now it is hot and I smell smoke in the air, so the neighborhood fires are still a threat. Hope you enjoy WA and at least get to see the space noodle.
