Excellent points
We should all be shouting about this. We need to get off the foreign oil, and changing our habits and modes of transportation is an easy first step. So, how do we get the government to shift the incentives to make these changes viable? That's what I keep wondering about.
Good article.

I think you made so many excellent points! I am overwhelmed at the callousness of the oil companies. They do not care about the consumer. A car that runs on water is already out there. It is crazy to continue on this road to ruin. I think getting proactive is the best way. I ride my bike wherever I can and always looking to help my fellow man. But somehow proactive must come collectively as a nation to stop the glut of oil. Excellent article! sam

Re: your comment
Thank you for the insight on the alternatives to combustion engines. I guess they paid high money for those inventions. Today, some are beginning to work with ideas that work as an alternative. The expense is so high it is almost out of sight.
I appreciate your info, thanks again.

Many alternatives to the internal combustion engine powered by fossil fuels have been developed and invented by private individuals since long ago. You'll find their patents now belong to Big Oil and while they have the trump card in hand they are certainly not going to help us until they have figured out a way of making more money with the alternative means of propulsion than they are making out of oil now. If they fail to formulate such a plan we'll probably have to wait until we're willing to pay more for water than for fossil fuel.
