Marineair, been getting caught up on your posts. Even though there has been more than twenty years in between your tour of duty and his, the things that you write about are so very much like what my son wrote home about in the '80s when he was stationed there. I'm really enjoying reading your blog.

Yeah, I'm a seasoned veteran now. I've been to the PI 4-5 times and Thailand 3 times since then. It's a whole other world...
