Because we cannot meld our minds and sew together our hearts,
we are separate beings who walk and live alone, even when in the company of others. If we allowour inner voices to speak so loudly that the world outside is pushed aside, then we are even more aware of how alone we are.
But, all young people feel this way and when our first big love leaves us or we leave them, the black holes created there.....have tiny unhealing painful little perimeters that call our attention away from engaging in the world. We curl inward to heal and actually the healing is outside of us, and comes only when we focus on others again.
AND, the next love cannot find us when we are curled inward and licking wounds mentally forever and a day. We have to be outside of ourselves, dancing and laughing and flying kites and blowing bubbles and chasing puppies and laughing with friends to become visible to Venus and Cupid once more.
