Hat-tip and bow with flourish to you, Talion, and to Queen V!

It takes considerable insight and self-possession to play out a scene like that and have it come out winning.  You're right, there is no winning if you don't rein in the run-away impulses, if you choose Plan One.

What I especially appreciate about your sharing this is that it shows it can be done.

I've gained twenty pounds since I've been married, my weight climbing from the 175-180 lb range to 195-200lbs. Most of it is attributed to simply getting older, but the fact that I'm not out and about as much as I used to certainly has an impact.

From time to time, one post isn't enough to cover all the ground needed. On top of that, a good cliff-hanger never hurt anyone.

Thanks for the distraction from my day.

Got the address and will send the box as soon as the Chinese send my check. It's a heavy sucker, but so useful, you'll see.

I had a Jewish husband who courted me with nice restaurants and we got chubby in love....we decided to do other things instead....and lost a lot of weight.

I didn't recognize him at one point, truly, stared at him across the table and wondered just who this new fellow was, as he slid a fork full of bisteeya into my mouth.....

He still courts his new women with the finest eateries in the US....but eats much less now.
