I still write letters, but not like I use to! Technology is taking over! I hope you have a wonderful day!  Shelly

It's a dying art, for sure... one I miss.

I haven't send a letter in years, always communicate through phone, skype, e-mail, text messages. Then I ran into a problem and for some reason decided to ventilate it on paper and turned it into a letter to my father. Explained to him how I felt, where I was in life, how much he and the rest of the family and my friends mean to me. I didn't have any intention of sending it, but I did. My mother told me that he read it twice with tears in his eyes, before handing it over and afterwards, carefully folded it and saved it. To me he just said: Thanks, that was a nice letter... but I know that it ment a lot to him. I actually think this was the first letter any of us children have ever sent him... That is such a shame.

Sooooo Good , as always a great read
It is sad that we no longer wrap our prize letters of love in red ribbons and store them in our safest drawer. Sweet memories of yesterday. Heart pounding waiting on the postman to deliver our love to us.
