If our desires are in line with our dreams for our life we can obtain them.
Desires are more ego oriented and dreams for our life's path for love and happiness are more soul oriented. Follow your dreams and listen to your heart and your desires will follow.

yes, we all want 'love'...one which would take us not for our best but during our inferior darnest moment. Love can be so deceiving...i'm not sure it's ever there when I needed it most...
