Your post reminds me of a recent trip to the farmers market. One of the "farmers" was a 16 year old boy selling watermelons that he had planted and tended himself. I know nothing of farming, was born in the city and did not see a cow up close until I was 9 years old. That is another comment,,, what struck me about this 16 year old farmer was that he was.. a farmer. I was so happy to find out that anyone that age wanted to continue that honorable profession. He was quite proud of his fruit. I bought a watermelon and was happy that I could rest easy, someone would still be growing watermelons when I am an old(er) woman. ~Peace, OTA
