Go to In every mind a Saint -- Chan (Zen) Buddhism

- Go to Concentration or Enlightenment?
Re: I Love learning from your blogs
This was an extreme case of intense meditation concentration when the person came to complete stillness in both the mind and the body. Breaking through such a strong concentration and dispersing all illusive thoughts instantaneously can possibly be an experience greater than a small or temporary enlightenment. After enlightenment, the person will become sharp and lucid in his/her senses and responses more than ever again.
Nevertheless, the way to enlightenment is not uniquely as in above. Some people practicing mindful awareness in a formless way could gain a smooth transition into enlightenment without having to lose any degree of attentiveness or responsiveness. In fact, the ability to be receptive to all surrounding sensory inputs in an open and equalled way is essential to getting enlightened in this kind of practice.

I Love learning from your blogs
This almost sounds like someone with Alzhiemers. Is this the forerunner of Western enlightenment?
