Thank you for the kind welcome. The Western states have many interesting places. If you ever get to Santa Fe, NM be sure to visit the Cathelic church where the suspended wooden stairway is featured. The hours of labor it must have taken is mind boggling.
I read your bio and you sound quite interesting. I too find that as I get older the body is plagued with unexpected aches and pains but to keep dementia away as long as possible, I began to write fiction novels in 2000. I find that I truly enjoy putting "pen" to paper to express the workings of my mind. Don't wait to begin your own writing. It is easier than you might think.

I love to travel, too--haven't been to Virginia City, though... Sounds atmospheric! In my mind's eye, I would be trying to see it as it was... but maybe not with the guys shooting up the prospectors!
