Regardless of what label we place on ourselves – be it atheist or God fearing loving Christian, if we’re not comfortable in our own skin and with the choices we make we’re more than likely going to have “Thou doth protest too much” moments.

Pat_B - whether it is searching for a solid argument that proves me wrong
or simply waiting to hear something that makes sense, it's all pretty well the same.
But what we are treated to instead is a non stop barrage of people suggesting that it is important to believe the ubelievable to become a better person. A lot can be learned about human nature and people's beliefs from this type of blog interaction. It is also good for a laugh, sometimes the most serious people stopping in here are the most entertaining.

I enjoy dropping a comment for the reaction, whether or not it's
heartfelt. You learn a lot about people with that little game. I may be off base, judging others by myself -- but could you possibly be searching for a solid argument that proves you wrong? I think that's what I'm doing, but I'm content it's not gonna happen.

And never the twain shall meet, my friend....
I have said it before, that I believe in what everyone believes and that is a big folder on this little ladie's life computer, full of various and sundry jpegs and bitmaps and pngs, not to mention all the Sh and html and all that...because the human belief system is fascinating and endlessly entertaining and engaging and sometimes emotionally uplifting and moving and wonderful, when it's not terrible.
I can't give up the ,"Really, you believe that do you?" Wonderful revelations and insights and dream times and only Chac Mool knows what. Ya know?
I believe in a Cuba libre, in a Venezuela socialista and in a Peru indigena and all that. Not necessarily, but you see, I believe in nothing but watching today and forgetting it tonight.
I'm too old to 'Viva la Verdad' anymore. Sweet dreams.

There's nothing easy about believing in God, or the life that follows it.
