something needs to be done
well i would like to say something needs to be done whether it be taxes or rebates etc. I actually like Obama's ideas of using natural resources for our energy and trying to find a better way to using these then using oil. These things take time though so i agree on the immediate cant spell. However, I've worked and been in many programs that are run by the government and I feel that there are better ways in helping the american people then just handing them 1000 even though i could use that right about now for a whole lot of things that i need help with not just my transportation.
What i think would be better is having better food programs in place that reach more individuals so no one is scared about where they get their food or individuals going hungary such as raising income levels in the foodstamp program, income and age levels in the wic program (the last i heard children stop growing in their teens so the items you get on wic would help out tremendously) help farmers especially those who might lose out on their crops one year due to drought or floods that way we dont lose out on food and have to bring in from somewhere else put in place transportation programs that help public transportation keep their routes and help individuals use the public transportation better again find ways to broaden uses of nature for energy like windmills solar panels biodegradable fuels like our wasted food turning into fuel for energy and maybe individuals can just do some good old fashioned things that take time like hanging their clothes out on clothes lines or writing letters instead of traveling even though i know that its better in person at times i dont i think you can get where im coming from
im not for nuclear anything so i dont agree on mccain's idea of adding more nuclear plants for energy. these might be very cost effeciant but im for natural stuff i feel that God put us on the planet to take care of it so it can take care of us and if we find ways of using more natural things without depleting nature then i think this is the way to go.

If he taxes the oil companies, they will simply go elsewhere. They are already very heavily taxed, and from my perspective they deserve their 8% profits. We are screwed if Obama wins.
