- Go to I wanted to beat him sooooo bad
My oldest son and a neighbor friend spray painted the whole side of a car that my husband (a mechanic)brought home for a test drive. Needless to say, I about hit the ceiling when I saw it. My greatest fear was that we would not be able to get the paint off and would have to pay the owner for damages. We did get the paint removed, without damaging the paint on the car.
I told him to go to his room and shut the door. Don't let me in there til I cool off. He put his toy box next to the door so I couldn't enter, he was soo scared. But it worked, he got the idea that mom was very angry and he never did anything like that again.

Ahh yes the joys of motherhood!
While the desire to inflict bodily harm does cross our minds on occasion, it is true bliss to see the horror of taking away the electronics. The child would much prefer a beating, I am positive!
