Sometimes there is nothing that comes to mind even though we appreciate the writing. I also sometimes see that a good write has already received more than enough comments similar to what I feel and I enjoy reading the comments too without adding anything.

I do the same thing. I just jump around from post to post.
I never know where I will end up. I do have a few favorites
I visit a lot,,but not every single post they write. I like
variety. I wish I could write more interesting stuff. I feel
like I write something good ,,,maybe once every two weeks
and the other stuff is crap!!! Maybe I will bump into you again.

I also have some favorites that I come back to. Then there are the ones I read (like yours) but don't comment on, simply because I can't find the words...
I also read radomly to find new interesting posts.

Babies take over lives. We've had three and our youngest is almost two years old now. I've learned a lot about patience from them and about being the slave of teeny weeny people and not the master of children. I hope yours bring you much joy and rich experience.

Keep reading, keep writing
I use to read quite a bit. BUT because our first baby is on the way I hardly get the chance to. Like you I give everyone a listening ear. Unlike you, though I have selected some favourites. These are writers who are consistent in the quality of their writing and its presentation. Peace
