Something they forgot to mention about Michigan

The economy here has steadily been in the bottom 3 for worst for about 2-3 years now and relief doesn't seem to be anywhere in sight.

I live in Upper Michigan and if I didn't have a job that I did from home and was available to people from anywhere, I would be making about 7.00 an hour if I had a good job!

callista
I understand that Colorado is suppose to be a nice area, but its too high for me ,we use to viist realtives in Pueblo, and I would swell up like a baloon and it was way too hot.  I believe I live in the best climate in the USA, never too hot or cold, and we need something to shake us up once in a while, not stuck at all

I lived in Denver Colorado for 12 years and liked everything about it,

great climate, and other than snow in the winter it was great.  I grew up in Kansas, tornado alley, but never in 18 years experienced one.  Hotter than Colorado in the summer  and also snow in the winter, i could live in Kansas.  I lived in NYC for 20 years, and other than an occasional snow in the winter, nothing like Colorado and Kansas, it is a good place to live.

Now i live in Florida, It has more tornados than Kansas and lightning out of this world, not to mention i have survived 3 bad hurricanes.  It is Hot and HUMID in the summer.  The worst climate i have ever lived in, but here i am stuck.  And i imagine if you lived in California with earthquakes a lot of people are like me, they don't like it, but they feel stuck.
