It's funny because Pam will not hesitate to admit that I am the hardest on her, I don't tolerate nonsense and I place some high expectations on her, yet, when given the choice, she chooses to be with me everytime. I have always made it clear to her, that it would be easier to be the "fun" parent but my goal is always to give her the best shot at life possible. She seems to get it, even when she is madder than a wet hen at me! Thank you so much!

You and Pam will get through just fine. She'll test you like crazy because she's screaming inside for senible discipline boudaries that say I love you. I really love you.

How very nice to see you've come back! I'm sorry that in the end things didn't work out between you and Carl, but you're right, it's best to draw a line! And I'm sure that Pam's behaviour will improve, once she's out of the clutches of what appears to be a totally dysfunctional family...
