I saw Kitaro in LA once it was so loud - but very cool

I sense a bit of tongue in cheekness, Talion--
I have mixed feelings about musicals, myself.  But there are some with delightful word-play and great cleverness of lyric--"Master of the House" comes to mind, from Les Miserables.  And some that are deeply moving in or out of context, without being cloyingly sentimental, which is what I find most objectionable in some of the most wildly popular shows.  I am thinking of "Memories" from CATS, which also has a lot of just very clever stuff, being for the most part taken straight from TS Elliot.

Ciel
If they're singing in Italian, it's an opera. If they're singing in English, it's a musical. Not quite the same. I detest musicals and since I don't understand Italian, needless to say, I'm not what you would call an opera kind of guy.
