I had to stop and think.. (oww that hurts) so I quit thinking and then a wonderful wave of bliss swept in to clear the cobwebs and pain.

Logic trumps emotion. Yes, that is true. That's why logic is king in our world. In our world, people think there is only logic and emotion. But, there is another voice that few hear. That voice trumps both logic and emotion. What trumps them both is Heart. People think emotion is the same as Heart. Wrong. Emotion is something else. It is not Heart. I'm pretty sure that you could hear the Heart. But, you can't hear it unless you turn off the head. You are an outstanding thinker. You are an outstanding poet. Fire away. Moon

Poignant words 666, I have to disagree with you though, positive thinking is always good... true we can not always attain it but if we can, if we can look past all the misery and terrible things that there are in this our imperfect world and see the beauty in the things around us and the possibilities for change...why not? why not think positive and make a contribution to that world instead of always whining and complaining. And, as for happiness... there is such a thing, its not something we can point at...rather it is comprised of moments...here and there, the first smile of your child, a hug from your lover, sometimes is just a word from someone that could not talk before... or a moment of ecstasy with a new love... there is such a thing as happiness my friend. You sound young...give yourself time... things are never as bad as they seem :-) (
