aaahh.... that sounds sooo good!
How big are the scallops you use generally? Ever try a variation with small bay scallops?
Have you ever had those pink-shelled 'singing scallops' by the way?

I like my scallops straight off the boat in Fall River or New Bedford, MA - but this recipe sounds AMAZING. I especially like the cocktail starter.

Naut
I really hate scallops--they're slimy, and strange. But I loved your recipe! Probably because you wrote it, and it was delightful enough to make me forget about the slimy shellfish!
I'm skip the seafood, but I will join in the
's ("cooking" wine really should be illegal!!)

YUM!!
This sounds awesome! Where do you get your scallops? I have had good luck at the St. Lawrence market and you're right - it's always good to have the proprietor as a friend. When I was buying for Good Friday dinner, he asked if he could come for dinner

Sounds wonderful! My son is fishing in the Bering Sea for salmon right now! Due home in three weeks with fresh salmon, lol but his port is Seattle. Shelly

Sound like a nice diner. I missed fresh seafood too. We're a bit too far from the sea...
