Mal I understand that as
I refused to take scripture lessons that this Principal organised for the school kids. I was teaching in a public school. Now I don't care who you are....I don't read Christian prayers or scripture lessons for anyone. It is my right of freedom to worship as I choose not to.I don't tell you how to worship, I told this person so don't tell me what prayers I can and can't.
I have no problem with saying to a class that Christians recite The hail mary or what ever, the Muslims do what ever they do and we Jews say Shema twice a day as well as wash our hands before getting up and say Mod'ai Ani. The Buddhists do ex but I will not be party to Christian propaganda for anyone.

Norwood this sounds very distressing
I would be somewhat careful regarding publishing all of their names. Try to take it calmly and one step at a time. Seek clarity from all involved. Perhaps you should seek transcripts/minutes of conversations/conferences. It is not always easy to remember everything. Good luck with this all of this

I'm not quite sure what's going on. Are you suing the school district? The principal? Not familiar with the Departments and agencies, since they are different in the US. But it does sound as if someone is messing with your mind. My sister in law, who teaches in rural Tennessee, had the Principal From Hell who forced her, a Jewish woman in a PUBLIC school, to recite the Christian prayers. She was nervous about bringing a lawsuit (separation of Church and State, etc.), so let it go, but they guy is on a power trip. Sounds like you're going to need a very long relaxing vacation to get over this - and a good lawyer who can put all the pieces together. Do you have any friends or family there who can assist you?
