Those little birds waiting for a drink and enjoying your gift of water is a lovely picture in my mind's eye. In their world, their existence, their needs do not seem like much to us and we take it for granted that their needs will be met by nature. Often, we put out seeds for their feed, but mostly for our own entertainment. How sweetly they sing when God sends the rain.
