You're not alone!

My numbers have dropped too. Probably because I haven't been reading quite as much as usual, and I haven't been browsing the new readers since my muse came back and demanded to be heard!

As to the fiction posts--I originally started on this site with a fiction blog. The plan was to get some feedback from people (real, normal people!). One thing led to another, and now I rarely post anything fiction. Because you're right--it just doesn't get read very much.

Personally, I think it's because it takes more effort and concentration and time to read them and comment properly. There are so many amazing writers on this site, it would take twenty years for a diligent reader to scratch the surface.

Chin up dear--you're amazingly talented, clicks or not!

Kaboom
Great pictures! And I do feel a lttle guilty, that I haven't continued reading  your fiction posts, and which I really enjoyed - it's just that my time is currently so limited, that I find it difficult to do any reading at all! And I don't write much either, as you may have noticed...Oh, and gari is what Japanese restaurants here call pickled ginger...

Bless you -  your blogging will blossom just as your crop is doing.
You made two very great points. The first one is about blogging fiction and few replies.  How do you say... it is very difficult to get hits in fiction.  I'm hoping to be persistant with my fiction until a small group reliazes I'm not going to bore them yet entertain them. thanking all who read immensely.  The second point is that you have not been diligent in reading/replying to others and that is by far the higher of the two that needs to occur (imo) for successful blogging replies.   Peace be with all
