Wow, way to drop a cliff-hanger! I really like reading your stories ....
this line is one reason why: "Should Clare catch them during a meal, they turn shyly away, tucking their heads under a wing." What a sweet, sweet, visual. Thank you for writing this, FINALLY ... lol. I'm looking forward to the next installment
