Profound
and (if I may I dare to say) it was very poetic in the way you so dramatically delivered the last line... Excellent journal entry

Re: benzinha
I like the difficult soul searching, finding what isn't always what I like about myself, but can face and think about and maybe change.

It is sad, Talion, that so often, when disappointment or hurt come, the very first thoughts are "destroy" and humans react by lashing out.   In any situation, be it marriage, a friendship, child/parent, sibling, whatever, it would be wonderful if at first notice of a rift in the relationship, a person's first and foremost thoughts were, "What can I do to save, mend, heal....?"

Thanks a million. Well, I guess I'll have to write it then.

More often than not, it's usually the other way around. By scratching the surface, we sometimes find the ugliness humankind has to offer.

The feeling is indeed mutual. Until then, be cool as well.

But Talion you have always been just that much more special to me.
I think you have enormous talent and your love for Queen V. dempered as it is with down to earth realism is priceless. I just want a signed copy of that novel before I die.

I suspect if we dug deep enough, or in some cases just did a little surface dusting, we'd all find those noble characteristics that would make the world a better place.

Talion,
I really do respect you and you are truly a "real man".

Be cool, my brother, and I'll see you when I return.

Actually, a lot of people do live with different people for a year or so. Every dorm on college campuses each year conduct those same social experiments.

If only we could stick to concepts, ideas, and specific actions and not lumping/narrowly defining people, we would be one step closer to resolving all of our issues.

Soul searching is easy if overall you like what you find.

we're all the same in that we're all so very different. The world would
be a better place if everyone was forced to live with different people for a year, like on The Real World....

Who was it that said...
..."there is good in the worst of us, and bad in the best of us, so one has the right to judge." I paraphrased, of course.
