New product opportunities for watermelon include Watermelon Juice, Watermelon Sorbet and Watermelon Yogurt, all of which sell fairly well (better in Canada than in the USA). However, not much interest is shown in the Watermelon Bread in either place.

The news item I heard about it said the actual part of the watermelon that works is the flesh of the rind....that white part I used to eat when I was a kid....and they said that eating watermelon pickles worked as well.....FINALLY, I understand why women pickled those things! I could never understand it....they look so horrible! Cold winters....watermelon pickles....it all makes sense now.....

Fancy that naut, it's big watermelon season right now in Turkey. I will certainly pay more attenion to the way the Turks walk. Will they slouch more when the season is over? I'll let you know. And thanks for your comment on the "morsels" You made a very good point here.
