"There is no greater sorrow than to recall, in misery, the time when we were happy." ---Dante
I was touched by the panicky love, that you revealed.

Re:
Actually, we're just friends now. It was one of those long-term relationships that ended on a high note for the better for both of us. We still keep in touch, and she's one of my biggest fans (please note, I use the word fans a little liberally. I have like 4) :) - Chris

I don't want you to get the wrong idea...
It's not like I go around peddling haikus and sweet nothings to a bunch of random dudes to help them make...um...connections. That one guy happened to be around when I finished writing it. ;) - Chris

I think he's used it 3 separate times...
I laugh every time I see him. I guess he's a fairweather friend of poetry. Did I just coin a phrase?

I can see why it is "stolen" and "used" often by your friends!! LOL. Any girl would want to go out with that person after seeing this. Sheesh!!!!

Thanks for reading!
This poem is noteable as the one most stolen by my buddies to send to their current flames.

I've even had one guy use it more than once. ;)... Hope you guys like it... - Chris
