I think I take the opposite view on being alone. I enjoy it. I walk all alone sometimes around where I live and I just chit-chat with God on life and such. But if you're lonely for love and a fellow companion, I can understand that. Love is a desirable thing. Your poem is very quiet and thoughtful, easy to understand and straightforward. I read it thrice...
