FineYoungSinger - I've been surprised as well at some of the blatant

attempts at slandering Obama.

The Kennedy's started Vietnam? That's hilarious. Considering that the conflict began in 1945 and involved France with no US involvement in the beginning, that would make John 28 at the time and Robert (20) and Ted (13) some pretty powerful rich kids. Or could they be speaking of the US military advisory role taken over from the French in the early 50's, long before the Kennedy adminstration? Maybe full US military involvement in 1965, two years after the Kennedy assasination? . . . I find myself feeling a bit of inexplicable embarrassment on behalf of people who are so obviously ignorant. Embarrased for them because they don't have the sense to feel that way themselves.

"Qualify your statements, avoid generalizations and for chrissakes stop making your moronic connections between religious beliefs and political convictions."

If this doesn't say it, I don't know what does.  I wish I had a dollar for every email about Barack Obama that misstates, misrepresents, or completely lies about what he stands for and what he believes.  My personal favorite was the one of late that brought the Kennedy's into the discussion by claiming Kennedy started Vietnam.

You know the funny thing is that I haven't seen a single rumor-laiden email about John McCain, the golden child of the very specific group to which you are referring in this post.
