Hello Naut! I am finding this series so interesting!

Side bar: I loved your ending to 'About Ado'; I was to post it again and add you line and call it an inadvertent collaboration. Please say yes! I think it would so much fun!

Love to you my Canadian Bro. (trying to make it impossible for you to say no)! Love to you, Shelly

Naut

Brilliant and informative (as always). Now that I know how the US and Canada are different, I can stop worrying that we're too much alike!

And while I'm not worrying about that, I think I'll go get myself an alarm for my house...

Well, at least we're gunless when we're lighting fires and doing B&Es.....

Nautikos
Seems like normal figures to me. We have to work less hard to rob and kill and stuff 'cuz there's so few of us. LOL

I think a lot of Canadians think US Americans think we're hot shit,

and dedicate a certain amount of energy into putting us in our place.  For the many, many of us who do not harbor that delusion of superiority, it is unfair and unkind.  Also an example of the adage, "What you sneer at, you become."

Your facts and figures have been very interesting.

Catching up
I always wondered about that, you know, the difference between Canadians and Americans! But I've always had the impression that Americans think they're hot shit, just for being American, although I don't think so, at least not for being American!

You know what, Naut?
It might not be just arsons that are influenced by the cold weather...a stolen car and a warm house both are shelters from the harsh Canadian elements. Just a thought! lmao

Amazing...hmmm...I guess I'd give my car anyday over my life.  This is so interesting.  You know at one time I was interested in coming to Canada, then I was told I had to revoke my US citizenship...hmmm...I'm a Texan, Naut...(LOL) for what its worth.  We're a strange bunch(mostly)...  ~ I am amazed at the statistics --- and you did a lot of work on this  --- I'm curious, do you think Denmark has less crime?  - (just a question) Elyse

Just read this on a bumper Naut....
..."Gun Control is Hitting the Target."  They also had a Bush/Cheney sticker...guess Cheney hit his target!  Ugh!
