Re: dear benzinha - How I wish I could call you GrandMa

Look at all that green in your garden and the height of your tomato plant!!

I have a bougainvillea plant that I put in the ground three years ago and it is now about twelve inches high, poor baby. Arizona desert.

When I plant cacti they grow huge and furry overnight as they need little and when domesticated, go too fast for their own good.

What a beautiful garden you have. Know that you are blessed.

dear benzinha - How I wish I could call you GrandMa
Thank you for sharing these treasures providing a view of your life for your fans.  I came hoping to find some tomato plant pictures (lol) I hope you won't mind my sharing a photo.  The tomato plant at the bottom is about two taller now than when this picture was taken. Best wishes

It must all look so pretty. Thanks for your comment on fantasy. I understand your concern, but my dream was only for a day and hopefully all the lovely turtles and dolphınes would have survıved, but on the other hand, who knows? Can I have a pıcture of your garden perhaps? It sounds fascinating.

Yay, grass!
I've been watching Hamlet again, and soon I'll be talking like him! Or like Derek Jacobi, rather .

I was in the garden today too. Cutting off dead flowers and pruning back
somehow I lost my sunglasses off my face while I was working. Now how could that happen. Wiley will tell you with me, anything is possible.

So beautifully you have written about the "undesertlike" part your garden in the scanty rains tropical garden of yours. May God bring you all the lush green in your parched garden, for which you spent $40. Loved your write all the way

Cynthia, following your writing, I feel that I have known you since

youthful times........and I thank the gods daily that I DIDN'T keep a journal as you did. I am ever so grateful to have forgotten most of my escapades and delitos.....

Mom says that I exaggerate and lie about everything anyway, so I guess that I would have done the same in a journal, no?? Best to live in blissful forgetfulness.

Oh dear......
Wow it sounds like you are destined to have a lot of boxes on your porch. I really enjoyed the style of your writing and the concept of learning through gardening is really cool. I look forward to visiting your blog again and hopefully to welcoming you to my own blog. HollyBird.x
