I blogged about this very thing a couple weeks ago. Short recap:
Ordering a latte in Borders, kid barista asks what I'm up to, I say I'm just looking for the meaning of life. He says "42." Which is a bit from Douglas Adams' hilarious sci fi book from the '80s "A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."  Made my day!  Once you're finished with "Kite Runner" maybe you can find a copy of the Hitchhiker's Guide. :)pat
