Jen,
I have felt this way a time or two myself.
Great work, dear friend!

Very well done dear poetess!
although I cannot always understand these feelings not having lived them I can certainly relate to the desperation of a human being; as for the light it is actually always there if we trust that it will always appear just before we give up; just like the dark before dawn it must come; thanks dear heart and take care of you; God bless always

This is heartfelt, compassionate and true for many. I have felt this way
many times in my life. I feel blessed, filled with gratitude and know it's only by grace that I no longer face these feelings of failure, disappointment, fear and desolation. It has been a long road facing fears and stepping out in faith. I wrote of my journey here on Blogit; recovering from my past, projecting the hopes and dreams of my future. The greatest gift I was given along the way was knowing that faith and hope would bring my dreams from within, out into my life. I'm following my dreams now, no longer stuck in the past. I don't know what my future holds, but I do know I will enjoy the journey as it unfolds!
I no longer feel a need to 'air' my laundry (good or bad, happy or sad), or my writing/poetry on Blogit. Many loving souls abound here, but as in life, others are about to their mischief as well. We take the mischief for whatever purpose it serves us to grow and move beyond (offence, anger, fear, paranoia (lol)), it tears at our hearts and makes us stronger because of it.
Your posts and poetry have certainly brought me to tears of healing rain, many, many times! You are such an amazing, beautiful, loving & compassionate young woman! You are strong a strong and confident woman for standing your ground and fighting fire with compassionate understanding!
God bless you Jen.
