Folks, good reader Xenox has just illustrated four of the major failings within the "global warming" cult. Observe:
First, we have a classic example of stereotyping. Xenox believes that because the oil industry has funded some of the efforts to refute the theory of man-made "global warming," therefore anyone who challenges that theory is on the take from "big oil."
Second, we have patent misrepresentation of what I wrote. Read the post and give me, exactly, where I disputed what was written about oil company subsidies. What I challenged was the bias and incompleteness of the article.
Third, we have the implication that no challenge to "global warming" theory is to be trusted because all such challenges are tainted by "big oil." (Do I detect a circle between this and the first point?)
Finally, we have the death-defying leap of logic from warming trends - which, by the way, are scarcely global - to human activity being the only possible cause of any such warming.
Xenox, sometimes you make this too easy.

that the planet is warming is also indisputable. You yourself have admitted that.
