Sam444,
I have to respect your opinion of Mr. Imus. I am a regular listener and find that his great talent and humanity out distances his peers. I actually heard the comment when it was made. It was "not" Racist! Thanks for the look.

Carbin Dallas,
Are these "instructions" in line with the "instructions" you receive to incite reverse "racially oriented uproar"? "What color is he"? The "fact" that Don Imus knew Pac Man Jones was a Black athlete makes the controversy contrived and wishful thinking by people who subsist on Racism's presence in society!
Thanks for the look, it is nice to know you still care!

I used to watch Imus, but he is a terrible person in my opinion. He doesn't''t seem to respect anyone! Not even his wife from his on air remarks! How are you? sam

Actually the black hand wringers are being very quite about this one....
Obviously they've received instructions from the NObama camp to cool it on any type of racially oriented uproar.....

Afzal50,
There are people here who value their position over reality! It is a way to live self-absorbed and self-indulged. Society does not matter to these people!

Why no just have everybody sit in their scripted environment and say nothing, as most in corporate media! Don Imus is, I would suppose, certainly conscienous of his censors and entertainment is not the reason I listen.

I listen ...
to Don Imus. I like him to play music. I agree with The New York Daily News that he's "a first rate interviewer." His humor might be taken better in a more entertainment format like before when WNBC went off the air. His political commentary's interesting. However I grew up with Klavan and Finch, John Gambling, the later music and contest of 1010 WINS in the morning, Jack Sterling, Herb Oscar Anderson, the Big Town Sound of WOR-FM, and WCBS-FM, mate!
