I love this post, KaBooM.  I liked everything about it.  I worry over trees and what things do them harm.  I don't think, though, that I have worried about "big women" injuring them--not until now.

What an interesting post! For one thing, you might be surprised to hear that 'cynical me' is also a tree-hugger at heart, and would have been concerned over that little tree more than the woman, lol.

And I find this 'over there' business interesting as well. It reminds me of Nova Scotia, where outsiders are 'from away', where 'away' could be anywhere, however. Even if one has lived there for years, as I did at one time, one is still 'from away', lol. Incidentally, what are the exact Japanese words for 'over there'?

I should really get out my Japanese textbook again...
