Sorry, I missed your controversy, but I 've been particularly busy lately
If it is worth anything, every time you have left a comment, it has shown you have read what I have written.  As for calling cards, I have been leaving them more lately myself because I am either still digesting what I have read or I am refraining from offering my own critique.  If someone is bitching about leaving calling cards, I would consider that a demand to offer criticism.  As such, I would either say my peace or tell them briefly why it is not worth my time to offer a critique, which could be rather blunt.  Or I would not waste my time reading their blog.

Many hugs to you, dear mermaid.  I hope you can feel the hugs I am sending to you in spirit as if I was there to hug you in person.

Mermaid

Don't let this get you down. Just keep writing and posting. This little controversy about spamming and clicks.... that's something that's been going on with different people at different times, so don't take it personally. It sounds like someone got a bee in their bonnet and the whole thing got out of control.

That said, you write beautiful poetry, and it would be a huge loss to the community if you no longer poseted here.

Hope everything turns out OK for you. Hey, i am th king of pain. Would it make you feel better if i was in a worse mood than you? Hey, low-tech boy (me) just found his calling cards. Thx for sending all them. How the heck do you leave them though?

in the one blog you put a challenge to anyone to tell you what they thought, something to that nature, that is what I meant when I said you ask for it, be careful what you ask for you might get it.  We all have our pain and misery at times, and this is a good place to vent it, but it is also a good place to stir up  emotions up, especially if the reader is in a bad mood feeling down themself, so take it as that.

Hey Jen...........
I don't understand what happened here! In any case, as far as I can tell you have not been a very well person lately and I am sure all the people who have grown to love your beautiful heart in your poetry can appreciate your needs at this time.  The whole point of poetry is you can write what you feel how you wish - there are no rules (as far as I know!).  The point is whoever doesn't like your work for whatever reason simply doesn't read your post - end of story - there is no need to throw insults at your already weary being.  Take heart sweetie and just carry on doing your thing however you wish; God bless and take care of you

Hiya:)

It's hard to read your blogs because the lines are so long, dealing with moving left to right and the mechanics are taking the focus off your words. Maybe you could check with Blogit help and get your page set up so it is welcoming to readers. It's a technical problem you can solve, or at least others have done so.

As for the sting you feel because you were criticized, welcome to the wonderful world of writing. It's how we learn. Not everyone knows how to lead gently or cares to. We get some brutal knocks when we put ourselves out there, but eventually we find our way and readers find us.  "Stop whining" is not the nicest way to put it, but learning to take the unpleasant comments along with praise is part of the writing game.
