I love the jousting tournaments...
...at the Renaissance Festival when it comes to Maryland.
Jousting is also the State Sport for Maryland that my cousin used to participate in regularly.
I love the imagery your poem conveys. Nice job.

This is better than being there my friend!
All the splendour without the gore!  Excellently written; vivid and with great imagination; thank you and God bless

Marion ~.~
Great write -- wonderful imagery. That period of time has always intrigued me. The crowd, the cheers, the opponents, the joust, the fall, the victor -- all watched by proper lords and ladies. Thank you for sharing. Peace, blessings and understanding.~SS

Aye!!! (as I cover my eyes) Wigopa/Marion you never cease to amaze me...what a great poetess/writer/artist you are truly ~ I feel as If I'm right there in the arena watching this...(now, jousting just gets me tense) but...all in all ~ Just WRITE ON!!!~ You're on fire.  I love it ~ xoxoxo Elyse

I could imagine the joust with every flounce and flare just by your words alone.  The fact that the poem was so skinny and long, reminded me of a jousting stick and made the poem come alive within my mind as a jousting ring.  Fantastic!
