Hoooorah for the 'victory' over FIL's teeth! I have don't think I've ever heard anything so disgusting! I'm not overly squeamish, but I couldn't eat at the same table with someone who cleaned his dentures in his tea!
Also, congrats for having been able to drop the rumour business...
And talking about teeth, I don't think it's 'skin off your teeth', but 'skin off your back'...
