I think this is true as well. It takes a great deal of work to live up to one's faith. I know I fail, but I work very hard at it all the time!  sam

Forget sex? How can I forget that?

Nevertheless, when will you begin your new blog:

Republican Party: America's Rectum

When will you begin this blog?

kooka_lives - I don't usually start a comment this way but I was certain of

this reality years ago.

Mind you, I have had the advantage of looking at religious societies from the outside, which gives a much clearer perspective. I loved the closing line in the article:

"The widely held fear that a Godless citizenry must experience societal disaster is therefore refuted."

The reasons why so many people believe that religion is fundamentally important to the health of a society are that the notion itself is inherent in selling religion to them and is self serving in that it justifies their own beliefs.

THAT IS VERY TRUE SON
Sometimes people use god as an excuse not to have morals (forget sex -- we're talking about lying and deception and getting their way through devious means).
