mecca is used in slang form here to represent "the center of all......"
Washington State is the mecca of liberalism for America's "Left Coast".......when you get a chance to escape for a while, come deeper into the country and meet other Americans. Some might say "real" Americans......who happen to enjoy reading about our "limited" history and are very proud of what it has accomplished........JMHO

If everything were only easily observed
in the absolutes of black and white......such as a definition in a dictionary.
Those known as Liberals in America like to wrap themselves in the defined terms of Liberalism....but their actions are far from it......they prefer to replace personal freedom and responsibility with governmental controls and programs designed to decide what's best for us all......they define the progressive activities as good......as long as they are the ones doing the "deciding".
Traditional Liberalism and it's followers have been replaced with the much more socialized slant of the radical wing......their control hastened by their quick adaptation of the internet methods.

Welcome Nada! I am glad to see you have decided to become a part of the political fray here on Blogit. Now to back to the show.
Mecca is also a word here in the USA that is used in many ways. We say 'antique mecca' or 'shopping mecca', etc. I know where and what the city named Mecca is all about, however I was not referring to that city.
Now, you obviously have not been taught much about our history. I would suggest reading about the history of our country. I would also want you to think why did you choose to live here. There is a reason why you are here and not back in ole Yugoslavia. There is a reason why the United States is still the United States and not by some new name such in the cas of many European nations. It is called strength. That is a word that is poison to liberals.
I must say that we need both CNN and FOX news. We need FOX for fair and balanced news and we need CNN in order to understand the wrong direction or choice for all of us to take in everything we do. So, you see, both are very much needed! Thank you so much Nada for speaking of my comments in your blog. I will be glad to point out the wrong in liberal thought anytime you wish me to do so.
