The stolen election of 2000 is one that will go down in history as one of
the most shameful politically motivated and unconstitutional acts ever, Ciel.  Bush's reelection in 2004 disgusted me no end, considering that more idiots voted for him than in 2000.  How was that possible?  No accounting for the power of a smear campaign or the gullibility of the American public.  The fact that a person could look at that worthless bastard's presidential record in 2004 and vote for him (most of them for the second time, which was egregiously asinine and the height of stupidity) never ceases to amaze.  And most of those mentally impaired buffoons with a voting card will be out on Election Day to cast a vote for McCain, the Continuator...

At the time, I had the distinct impression that Gore wanted to be president

in order to make the world safer, healthier, better.  And that Bush wanted the Presidency to be big, to make Daddy proud, and maybe a little humble, too (Fathers and sons, yeesh!).  Gore went on to fulfill his intent, though I do so wish he had done it as President.  Bush also went on to prove me right and to steal the White House twice, all the while with that raised-eyebrow, innocent-little-me look, and one lie after another.  "But if I say it with conviction, then it's just the same as true!"
