I had missed this one, its amazing, love this style, very modern and Walt Whitmany ) loll is that a word???) By the way, I loved the Sonnets for the Spanish... liked it better than the Washington Poems...and I liked that one a lot. I read it and read it and marveled at the precision of your form and the amazing content. I was, in your own modified words
"entranced. there was nought else that I could do" . I had an English teacher that told me that any fool could write a sonnet, but that the trick was to make it mean something. Well my friend your sonnets are meaningful and beautiful. Congratulations on a wonderful book.

Re: cadence
Thanks, sam!
Cadence is, in my opinion, a crucial element of poetry. When something sounds like an incantation, I consider it poetic, whatever its form.

Re: Style of Poetry
Thank you for your kind comment. I accentuated in this poem features in my poems where I loosen the rules of language in prose, particularly sentence structure and separation, in an ocean of consciousness or unconsciousness.
