LOL...how funny ~ and you know VOGUE, this is funnier.  My former mother-in-law when she moved back from Turkey, well she had some of these pants you speak of.  I LOVED them.  I wore them many a times.  Quite comfortable and unusual the folds in the crotch area.  I also had some saddle bags for a while (camel saddle bags) and of course other things but my fave were the pants.  ~ try some on.   ~Elyse

LOL, vogue!

Reminds me of the days when cell phones were still a novelty, and people were known to wander around with one tucked to their ear, talking to themelves...The credit card fad will probably fade as well...

And disappointed? On the contrary! I just wanted to make sure! The only 'disappointment' is the cigarette, but that's because I'm one of those damn ex-smokers! We're insufferable zealots...

wonderful slice of life, Vogue
reminds me of being in developing countries and seeing everyone with cellphones and many homes with satellite TV receievers. Incongruous indeed!

That's too funny.
I am wondering if these people understand how interest they are going to have to pay on these few dollars worth of goods? Or if they just disregard the whole "having to pay" bit. You, know, just throwing the credit card bill altogether in the bin and forget about it.
