One more less than trivial thought:  Respect is earned.  I have no respect for someone who sticks a gun in my face, accuses me of acts and intentions I do not engage in or have and who can't get over themselves.  In return I really don't care if anybody respects me or not.  Some advice: one cannot have humility for someone.  Humility is a characteristic a person has in his or her general behavior, not something you can have for someone.  You can be humbled by someone.  I'm not trying to humiliate you here as you have been trying to do to me with your farty comments, I'm trying to help you master the English language, which I myself have not mastered fully since I'm not English speaking.  I have vowed never to take a human life unless I know for certain that the taking of that life will spare many lives from suffering and I will therefore never be a soldier in the service of any cause who have vowed to kill anybody on someone else's orders.

Re: Re: Thanks
Once again I have nothing against the man, or any other man, but I simply do not agree with what I have been exposed to thus far when it comes to his teaching.  I do not just want to talk about darkness (which you obviously try to avoid doing) but I am pointing out that there is no light without darkness, no evil without good, no south without north. In the realm of discursive thinking (the only realm where words are applicable) there are always two sides to every state.  Although dualistic notions can be transcended, they cannot be escaped from once we get on with the game of life.  You will get really stimulated to run away when you encounter my intestinal farts and I do not only read.  I am as much God as a drop in the sea is the sea and a finger is the man.  I really do not see how seeing yourself as very important can do much more than inflate your ego and protect you temporarily from a sense of inadequacy, if you already feel inadequit.  I do not feel inadequate or adequate, important or not important.  These distinctions belong to the realm of relative truth which is not my realm of abiding.  In ultimate reality they are just more jibber jabber in the game of life.  Since this is a blog and any form of writing or speaking is intrinsically bound to the limitations of conceptualizing we cannot blog without being subject to the limitations of discursive thinking.  Even my own words right here are just more jibber jabber when seen in the light of Ultimate reality.  Such is life and I am alive.

Re: Thanks
One more little trivial thought. Have you ever met and talked with the person you badmouth? No I don't think so. Why? Because your used to reading and having people agree too..to. Why don't you go find Maharaji or Prem Rawat and talk to him. Then write me. Go to the links I have shown and go to an event and stay an listen. Then write me. Until then find some one else to bug. You have no idea who you are writing to or who I am. You have no respect or humility for others. Until someone sticks a gun in your face, then you respect them. I was a soldier for many years. What about you?

Re: Thanks
I have been as kind and loving towards you. Even though you insulted my friend of 37 years. I am the student of a very fine human being. I love him very much and he has taught me alot about loving my fellow beings. Yet you have no idea what he shows. You just want to talk about the darkness. Your stimulation is called brain farting. Your cup is full, your brain is full, there is no room for anything but your reading. By the way. I am just talking to you! Are you God. When I write to you why do you involve others? Are you in prison? Maybe if you saw yourself as being important then you would not be so full of hate and jealousy towards ways of others.

LittleBirdie - it seems that all religions have different sects

But to answer the question you pose in why have so many Jesus churches popped up? I would suggest that two factors outside of human behavior pertaining to religious beliefs, and specifically interpretation, are the reasons that Christianity is divided into over 30,000 sects. The first factor is geographical distribution. Isolation from a central pontificate or governing hierarchy maintaining orthodoxy causes the development of differing religious enclaves based on points of doctrinal interpretation. The second factor is that the vast majority of the different Christian sects exist within countries with democratic systems of government allowing the personal freedoms necessary to break away from existing churches.

Combining these two realities with good old fashioned greed is in some cases a third factor. Simply put, the selling of religion and anything else associated with religious belief is a compelling reason for some to manufacture their own truths and start selling a CD, a book, or whatever based on those truths.

Thanks
Why do you find the Brothers and Sisters of Christ so annoying, oh all important self-proclaimed peaceful, happy, yet annoyed and insulting, one.

By the way, I was just running out of things to write about when my God sent you to make some stimulating comments on my blog.  Thanks.
