Jesus said God is equal in his treatment of the just and unjust
like the tower that fell on people
he asked "Were they sinners above all other?"
then went on to say God makes his rain to fall on the just and unjust alike. all people are treated equally. Disasters occur to all equally.
But they want their god to favor them. Don't happen.
