Lovely imagery and nice word choice.
Like you, I enjoy nature and I feel God's presence (His serenity and His strength) renewing and refreshing me.  Good job on this one!

Wonderful Poem Mike.
I guess you should be going away more often.   You came back with a lovely peom.  Great description, it makes the whole experience comes alive for me, eventhough I was not there.  Great Job.  Sophie.

Oh, Mike! This is so fabulous, I was at the beach with you. I love lighthouses and so I cling to the beach. Your opening stanza:

Here in this moment

With the wind on my face

I realize I have become dependent

On its gentle embrace

I was absolutely taken with this imagery. I can see you had a great time. I long for the beach, it refreshes the writer so. sam
