Re: Wonderful dialogue..
"Evolving" is a better word for the "lacking" spiritualism that seems to have happened..The Karmic evolution cycle that you speak of is a very good view of how things should go about..We need to change and flow with what is going on in our lives..That way we still do as we should but progress toward a higher plane..Hopefully Bhaskarji will have more insight to this as I am not as "learned" in this subject..

Wonderful dialogue..I may submit that instead of viewing us as...
spiritually "lacking", it's more apt to view us as spiritually "evolving"..it's the glass half empty or full syndrome..there isn't a soul that is not evolving..even the meanest of the meanest..they are just in different stages of the karmic evolution cycle...Bhaskarji, is this correct? - Ash

Re: Elyse
Yes we are all "lacking in some form of spiritually" I know I could work harder with it..as well as a few others of my family..Thank you so much for your sweet and "humble" opinion..Much thanks and love to you..

WOW! What a wonderful hertiage you have..There are some links on some of the previous pages that you may want to check out..The romance of the Native American culture is a beautiful thing..with great things to learn..If you would like I can e-mail with some links that are for the Blackfoot tribe alone..Thank you for the awesome comments!

Re: Ash
The use of both requires a "prudent" use of wisdom..I wanted to thank you for helping me out of that shell..and yes all heritages are very percious to everyone..They help to make this place a more interesting and educational way to live..How else would we learn about the wonderful ways others live their lives..Thank you soo much my friend!

Re: Nataluna
A excellent theory you have..I agree..Bringing balance into your life is the best thing to do..Otherwise to tend to get heavy on one end and throw things of kilter..Thank you so much for reading and it is so nice to meet you!

Very wise words ~ I happen to agree with this 'food for thought' ~ I believe universally, we're all lacking 'spiritually' ~  (but that's just my humble opinion) ~ Great quote and great discussion Marion ~ Elyse

Sounds possible to me.

My mother's side of the family are from the Black Foot tribe.  My grandmother

looked like an indian and wore her hair in two braids.  My mother looks a lot

like an Indian, but her dad was a black man.  The Indians always fascinated me.

I love the way they survived without destroying the land.  No telling what life

would be like had technology and the industrial age not come about.  Good

 thought.  Thanks for sharing.

In my judgment, prudent use of both is essential...
prudence requires wise values..that's where we err..as you can see all around us in the world..good dicussion point though....on the lighter side Marion :), I'm sooo pleased to see you come out of your shell and share that treasure of your heritage with us all..hope it inspires others as well..all heritages are precious..glorifying or demeaning any is unwise, bless, Ash

Somthing that also the Indians practice is Balance!  Balance has always proven to be healthy.  The only reason things get thrown out of orbit is because there is either too much or too little of somthing. The best theory to by is:  "To much of anything is unhealthy"

To much water: we drown

To much food: we get obese with health problems

To much drugs:  we OD and die

To much technology:  we strangle mother earth

I think we need to step back from technology to make sure that we are using it responsibly.
