Re: Beauty, both inner and outer
Hey, Guy - FYI; always call your wife gorgeous! My husband does every day and its kept us together for over 25 years! Thanks for the compliments, though. THOSE I'll take anytime!

Beauty, both inner and outer

Sweety,

I don,t picture you as a "plain Jane!" In my book, you are one of those few interesting, intelligent, intuitive, interested, women that I feel like I have known well, for years. This makes you lovely and beautiful to my mind. I used to be as shallow as piss on a plate, like nearly all young men, but as I matured and gained life experience, I came to appreciate the traits that survive the ravages of time. I am ashamed of how I used to look at life and half of the world's population, now. I am no cover boy myself, and Marilyn still bristles at the memory of how she felt slapped by my response the time she asked how I thought of her physical appearance. I told her that I thought we were both about average looking. I didn't think it was a loaded, trick question. I didn't think being average in appearance, was anything to be ashamed of. I still have a lot to learn about womanspeak, I conclude. Must be my high school diploma education kicking in! Kidding!

this is a great blog ... and only proves the adage that you can't judge
a book by it's pretty or homely cover!

Wonderful, energetic post
"My first impression of Teresa was made from afar, the way any Plain Jane like me would assess a woman of superior looks; with a bit of jealousy and a lot of skepticism." – a perfect articulation.

How lovely and nice for you to be able to recognize beauty at the
depth that you do and to be affected as such by it

I am sure there are many forests and sunsets that inspire tears of awe and joy upon your cheek...
